Year-round strength training built specifically for runners.

If you know you need to strength train consistently but don't know which exercises to do, how much to lift, or when to progress, the ST4R: Run Strong Program gives you a plan. Follow progressive, running-specific strength workouts year-round to build strength and capacity that better support your running.

Training For A Specific Race

Specific strength programs designed around the demands and timeline of your goal race preparation.

RUN YOUR STRONGEST 13.1 - $89 (16 wk)

Built to support the changing demands of half marathon training, this 16-week program progresses strength early in the build and adjusts volume as mileage and workout intensity increase. The goal is to help you build and maintain strength, support faster running, and arrive at race day strong without adding unnecessary fatigue.

RUN YOUR STRONGEST 26.2 - $99 (20 wk)

Built to support the changing demands of marathon training, this 20-week program progresses strength early in the build and adjusts volume as mileage and long runs increase. The goal is to help you build and maintain strength, support durability through higher training loads, and arrive at race day strong without adding unnecessary fatigue.

RUN YOUR STRONGEST XC SEASON - $99 (20 wk)

Built to support the changing demands of cross-country training and racing, this 20-week program develops strength and power through the summer, then maintains and builds speed in-season by adjusting volume as mileage, workouts, and races increase. The goal is to help runners maintain strength, support faster running, and stay strong throughout the competitive season.

“During my first marathon build, I knew strength training was important but was struggling to find a consistent list of exercises that would get me healthy through the race. Everything was going as planned in the build until my IT band flared up, similar to the symptoms I used to experience in competitive gymnastics several years prior. I then discovered the IT band syndrome rehab guide by The Runner’s Fix, and after completing that in the later stages of my marathon build, I was able to improve my symptoms enough to the point of confidently starting the race and then hitting my sub-4 goal of 3:46. After I had recovered from this first marathon, I was in search of a strength plan to complement future training plans and found the ST4R: Run Strong Program. Fast-forward a few years later, I am a 2x Boston Marathon qualifier (and counting), and never have to think about what to do specifically in my strength work. It is all written down for me already when the week starts! I am very grateful for this program, and I will be continuing to renew my purchase each year indefinitely.” AS - Marathoner

“This program helped me get started with my strength training again and allowed me to gain strength over several months. This was helpful as I had moved to high elevation area with hills, and needed it to maintain and increase my adaptive capacity at the time. I highly recommend!” EY - 3 Year Member

“I've struggled with pain while attempting to increase mileage and pace for YEARS. I recently completed my first half marathon and I can honestly say it's in large part due to the ST4R program. I was able to navigate sickness and some nagging pain throughout a full training program to complete my race under my target time. I've just renewed for another year and excited to set new PBs as I continue to build the right mechanics and durability.” DB - Half Marathoner
